What's inside

Three tools. That is the entire app.

Everything a recreational round asks for, and nothing built for a player chasing a tour card.

  • GPS yardages

Front, center, and back of the green on every hole, updating as you walk. No sprinkler-head math.

Accurate to the yard the moment you open it

  • Digital scorecard

Tap your strokes in as you play. The card adds itself up and tracks your score against par.

Nine or eighteen, whole foursome or just you

  • Course maps

An overhead view of the hole with bunkers, water, and doglegs, so you can see the shot before you hit it.

Loaded before you tee off, works on weak signal

Course maps

See the hole before you play it.

Get a clear overhead view of each hole before you swing, including bunkers, water, and the safest route to the green.

  • Every hole mapped, not just the tricky ones
  • Bunkers and water marked where they actually sit
  • Included free, never behind an upgrade screen

Try it now

Both screens, working, before you download anything.

This is the whole app: a yardage screen and a scorecard, plus a place to keep your own club distances. Tap around a hole on the map and watch the number change.

Demo data only — no account needed.

Pick a hole

Tap or drag anywhere on the hole. The yardage follows your ball, the same way it does when you walk up to it.

How it works

Three steps, then you're playing.

No setup wizard. No profile to fill out before the first tee.

  1. 1

    Pick your course

Search for where you're playing. Every hole comes down mapped and ready before you tee off.

  2. 2

    Play with live yardages

Front, center, and back distances update as you walk. Glance, pick a club, put the phone away.

  3. 3

    Tap in your score

One tap per stroke. The card totals itself, so nobody is doing arithmetic at the ninth green.

A round with Fairway

Built around the four hours you're outside.

Golf is a walk with friends. The app should take seconds of it, not minutes.

Check the number, pick the club, hit it. Two taps from open to yardage.

Between shots

Nothing to log, nothing to review. The phone stays in your pocket.

Honest comparison

What you gain, and what you give up.

Stat-heavy golf apps are good at what they do. If you want strokes gained and shot-by-shot logging, use one. If you want yardages and a card, this is the trade.

Small on purpose.

Every feature we skip is a screen you never have to learn on the first tee.

Questions

Everything golfers ask before the first round.

Do I need to be a serious golfer to use this?

No. Fairway is built for recreational and semi-serious golfers who want yardages and a scorecard without learning a stats platform first.

Does it track advanced stats like strokes gained?

No, and that's on purpose. Fairway sticks to GPS yardages, a scorecard, and course maps: the parts of a round-tracking app most golfers actually use.

How accurate are the yardages?

Yardages are calculated hole by hole to the front, center, and back of the green, and they update as you move around the course.

Do I need service or Wi-Fi on the course?

Course maps and hole data load ahead of your round, so GPS yardages keep working even where the signal drops out.

Can my whole group keep score in one card?

Group scoring is part of the plan for the scorecard, so one person can keep the card for the foursome instead of everyone tapping their own phone.

Is there a paid tier I'll eventually need?

No paywalled tiers. GPS, scorecard, and course maps are free to use for every round.

When can I actually download it?

The app is still in build. Join the waitlist and you'll get one email when it's ready, with nothing in between.

Can I use the demo without signing up?

Yes. The demo uses sample data and does not require an account.

Still deciding? Read the guides on accuracy, battery, and what you give up.

Get Fairway before your next round.

Leave your email and we'll send one message when the app is ready to download. Nothing else, ever.

Your email address is all we store. No card, no profile.

Ready for a round without the clutter?

Yardages, a scorecard, and course maps. The parts of the game you actually need out there.

  • Free to use, every round
  • No stats dashboard to learn first
  • Course maps included, not an add-on
